Samson was a careless, rebellious, and selfish womanizer. The perfect picture of an imperfect man. Turning his back on God, he tried to live life his way. Though Samson fell for a time, he later repented of his deeds and turned back to the Lord. It was finally then that God redeemed him.
The fall and rise of Samson is like the story of fallen humanity and our redemption in Christ Jesus. If you're willing to receive it, we are all like Samson gone astray in the stubbornness of our flesh. But God is patient towards us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
So that we too, though we have altogether fallen, may be redeemed like Samson and rise by God's grace.
